For over 35 years, Pastor Sayan and Siriporn Kusavadee have served as the visionary founders and "spiritual parents" of the Home of Blessing, transforming a simple act of initial obedience into a powerful, lifelong legacy of faith. Siriporn, a nurse by training, provides the steady foundation of the home, serving as a primary discipler, mentor, and "mother" who balances teaching the Word of God with practical life skills and compassionate physical care. Her life reflects the beauty of a Proverbs 31 woman—faithful, hardworking, and full of warmth—as she leads the girls in prayer and daily life as a devoted warrior for Christ. Pastor Sayan serves as the home’s spiritual father and an anointed preacher, bringing nearly 50 years of ordained ministry and a doctorate in leadership to his role. As a respected "pastor of pastors" in Northern Thailand, he chairs the Khmu Christian Association and sits on the Evangelical Fellowship of Thailand committee, using his gifts in communication and networking to oversee the home's vital operations. Together, they have built a community deeply rooted in prayer, discipleship, and purpose, ensuring that thousands of lives are transformed by the Gospel. Today, they are joined by their adult children in ministry, joyfully carrying their multi-generational vision of faith and love forward to reach the next generation.

As the eldest daughter of Pastor Sayan and Siriporn, Nice serves on the Home of Blessing staff alongside her husband, Andrew. She is a dedicated mentor, coach, and encourager who brings both strength and tenderness to the entire community. At the home, Nice leads worship and supports her mother in key leadership roles and prayer ministry. She walks closely with the girls through seasons of healing, growth, and critical decision-making. Nice is deeply committed to helping each girl build a firm foundation in Christ for their future. She is especially passionate about creating a supportive bridge for graduates moving to Chiang Mai. Through coaching, she helps them find community and stay spiritually connected to their HOB family. Nice inspires the girls to pursue higher education, Christian training, and meaningful employment. Her consistent encouragement empowers them to make wise life choices and pursue their dreams. Beyond the home, she and Andrew serve as dedicated missionaries with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). Nice holds significant leadership as the Co-Convenor of YWAM Chiang Mai and a national elder. She works to strengthen leaders and ministries across the nation of Thailand and beyond. Together, she and Andrew represent the next generation carrying the HOB vision forward.

Andrew Bowers, together with his wife Nice, serves on staff at the Home of Blessing. Andrew has a deep passion to see young people truly know God and step fully into His purposes for their lives.

At the Home of Blessing, Andrew supports the ministry through communications, fundraising, preaching and teaching, leadership development, and—alongside Nice—discipling HOB alumni who now live in Chiang Mai. He is committed to helping the girls and graduates grow in faith, build strong foundations, and thrive in the next season of life.

In addition to their roles at the Home of Blessing, Andrew and Nice are also full-time missionaries with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). Andrew serves as Co-Convenor of YWAM Chiang Mai and is an elder within YWAM Thailand, helping strengthen ministry leadership and vision across the nation.

Andrew also serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees of Grace International School. He and Nice are blessed with four children, and their family life is deeply woven into the community and mission they serve.

Tom and Nikki live in Chiang Mai, raising their two sons while remaining deeply rooted in ministry and service. As a staff member and the third child of the founders, Nikki mentors the student leaders at the Home of Blessing. She provides emotional and spiritual consultation, ensuring the girls balance their studies with their calling. Nikki also oversees the Sunday school ministry, equipping the girls to teach biblical truths to the next generation. Alongside her ministry and family life, she successfully runs a home bakery in the city. Tom serves alongside her, walking with the young women as they discern their God-given identities and future paths. He provides a bridge to the professional world, helping them rise above societal limitations with confidence. Tom also lends his expertise to practical needs, overseeing construction, facility strategy, and vendor relationships. Professionally, he serves as the Communications Coordinator at Grace International School and manages the Bible Project in Thai. Together with Andrew and Nice, Tom and Nikki provide a strong, multi-generational support system for the HOB family. They are dedicated to wise stewardship, quality outcomes, and fostering deep relational growth. Their lives beautifully blend professional excellence, creative entrepreneurship, and a profound commitment to the Gospel in Thailand.

Kittipong, the son of Pastor Sayan and Siriporn, is a music and sound engineer with a passion for worship ministry. He has been serving full-time at the Home of Blessing since February 2025. Prior to this, he worked in Chiang Mai, while regularly traveling back to the Home of Blessing at the weekends to support ministry activities.

With his background in music and audio engineering, Kittipong’s primary focus is developing the worship team and nurturing their musical skills. His responsibilities include overseeing sound systems, musical instruments, lighting, and technical operations in the main worship hall. He also coordinates and leads worship rehearsals, provides individual music training, and supports the technical infrastructure of the HOB, including electrical systems, solar power systems, water pumps, and other equipment.

Through his service, Kittipong is committed to creating an excellent worship environment and empowering the next generation to grow in skill and develop a heart for service to God. When not rehearsing, teaching an instrument, or leading worship, Kittipong can be found following his beloved Arsenal Football Club!

Patty is the youngest daughter of Pastor Sayan and Mom Siriporn, and she has been part of our family since she was only two months old. As our cousin’s daughter, she has grown up surrounded by love and has developed strong, meaningful relationships with both sides of her family.

Raised in the Home of Blessing, Patty has grown into a remarkable young woman. She recently graduated from university with honors, a testament to her dedication, discipline, and character. She is truly a great asset to the Home of Blessing, serving faithfully in many areas with a joyful and willing heart.

Patty works closely with Mom Siriporn, assisting her in very practical and hands-on ways. She carries a strong leadership gift, working well with leaders and helping ensure that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities. She is dependable, trustworthy, and able to carry tasks through with excellence.

Patty’s life reflects faithfulness, maturity, and servant leadership, and she continues to be a blessing to everyone around her.

My name is Fry, and I graduated from the Home of Blessing in 2018. Since then, I’ve had the joy of serving at the Home of Blessing for the past seven years.

During my time serving here, I had the opportunity to complete a Discipleship Training School (DTS), which helped me grow deeper in my relationship with Jesus and strengthened my faith in a powerful way. Because of what God has done in my life, my heart is to see the girls at the Home of Blessing grow in their own relationship with Jesus—knowing His love, learning His Word, and building a strong foundation for their future.

My responsibilities change throughout the day, but my main focus is caring for the primary school girls, especially the youngest ones. I support them through their morning routine, helping them get ready for school and making sure they are cared for and encouraged. During the day, I also assist Mom Siriporn by helping prepare ingredients for meals and supporting with other tasks as needed. In addition, I serve as part of the Sunday School team, helping teach and guide the girls as they grow in faith.

Rex Hughes is a purpose-driven leader whose philanthropy is rooted in the power of family and community. Through the businesses he has founded, he has built organizations centered on service, safety, and long-term impact - extending that mission beyond business into meaningful community engagement. Rex actively supports initiatives focused on firefighter health, cancer awareness, youth development, and local nonprofit partnerships. He believes strong families build strong communities, and strong communities support those who serve. His philanthropic efforts reflect a deep commitment to creating sustainable, generational impact grounded in integrity, compassion, and shared responsibility.

McKenzie Hughes is the daughter of Rex Hughes and has carried a heart for service from a young age. She first traveled to Thailand at just 15 years old, where she immediately fell in love with the Home of Blessing and its mission. That experience shaped her lifelong commitment to serving others and supporting the girls who call it home.

Today, McKenzie leads U.S. operations for Home of Blessing. She oversees project development, designs fundraising initiatives, and manages donations to ensure resources are stewarded with excellence and transparency. With a heart for both vision and detail, she works to connect supporters in the States with the life-changing impact happening in Thailand.

Like her father, McKenzie believes leadership begins with service. Her passion is creating opportunities, building sustainable projects, and helping every girl at Home of Blessing step confidently into her future.
